In my time, I wrote little sonnets for my friends. Here is one I wrote for My Lady Love at Yule Season. It is quite specific.

I Merlin a man on the ground state this
I am a man in love with you
My nights are spent in dreams with you
My days are happily ensconced in my work as a Druid
I am a Druid and one with the ways
My life is here in Anglesey but also it is to be with you
Soon I will depart for Druid Grove
My life will then begin with you
My Lady, my love I bid you farewell till then
