As a spiritual practitioner, my life was spent in service to the Hawaiian Royal Family and the people of my community. I was known as a Spiritual Priestess. In my day women Kahunas were called Priestesses.
I spent time in prayer upon arising each morning. It was a ritual for me. I asked God for the well being of the Royal Family. I also asked for prosperity for our community.
Life for me was spent as a spiritual advisor and healer to the Royal Family. This consisted of daily instruction to the family.
I was a person the people of my community would come to for advise. Sometimes they asked for an audience with the Royal Family. I would arrange this. It was common for a Hawaiian to request time with the Royal Family. Very often the Hawaiian people would bring gifts and give thanks. I was also given gifts from time to time.
